Lisa was right. We walked into the shop and Katie greeted us with a smile. Probably one of the least intimidating vendors I’ve ever met. Super lovely, very creative and best part for me was meeting her little dog Freddie, who is gay and has a boyfriend. Yeah, I know, I giggled too.
Together, we ooh’ed and ahh’ed over all the gorgeous flowers as Katie talked us through a couple of ideas and showed us a few potential arrangements.
“Have you seen pink gypsophila before?”, Katie says and both Lisa and I started drooling as we were shown a picture of it. Needless to say, “Pile on the gyp!”, was one of the most popular phrases that day.
I can’t wait to see the final creations on Nick and Lisa’s wedding day at Newick Park!
And as if Lisa needs another reminder, she grabs her phone excitedly and says: “Only 3 months, 13 days, 59 minutes and 16 seconds to go before the wedding!”
Soooo cute! x
As the poet Ralph Waldo Emerson would say: “Earth laughs in flowers…” so, I couldn’t help but take a few pictures to capture them as they smiled. Have a great week ahead peeps!
